AMD to Demo Blu-ray Standard

AMD announced today that it plans to demonstrate the upcoming Blu-ray stereoscopic 3D standard at next month's Consumer Electronics Show

AMD announced today that it plans to demonstrate the upcoming Blu-ray stereoscopic 3D standard at next month's Consumer Electronics Show (CES).

"AMD has a long, proud tradition of delivering leading technologies to market – technologies that have a meaningful and positive impact on the PC experience,"

AMD is committed to investing time and manpower so that they may deliver Blu-ray 3D to consumers when it is finally ready and compatible with most hardware, like they did with DirectX 11.
