YouTube now accepts uploading HD videos up to 1080p and will automatically re-encode them to full versions, meaning no black bars on sides and at the top or bottom either

YouTube now accepts uploading HD videos up to 1080p and will automatically re-encode them to full versions, meaning no black bars on the top and bottom and sides.

Perfect timing for Google's YouTube as HD camcorders will be a hot item on peoples Christmas lists around the world.

Eye candy city, here we come!
