Sony has updated the firmware for PlayTV to version 1.21 allowing it to record free to air HD channels

Sony has updated the firmware for PlayTV to version 1.21 allowing it to record free to air HD channels.

PlayTV is a recording add on for the PS3 which will give the PS3 the ability to record and play another channel simultaneously, both in high definition.
