Thanks to some new software from QuickPlay, cable and IPTV set-top box owners will have access to control television programming and movies for viewing via live TV, video-on-demand (VOD) and downloading on personal computers and related portable devices.

The content is delivered to a device during periods of intermittent network availability and provides options for users to access and download content over Wi-Fi, high-speed cellular networks and through side-loading.

QuickPlay will demo the new software October 7th through the 9th in San Diego.
