In an attempt to bring itself back from the dead, Movie Gallery tries out a new plan that allows you to buy Movie Gallery points redeemable for movies and games

The new service nicknamed "PowerPlay", allows customers to buy points redeemable for movies, games, and other video items at any local Movie Gallery or Hollywood video locations.

The silver plan costs $7.99 per month grants users eight points, the Gold costs $14.99 gives users 15 points, then the platinum plan which is $24.99 with 25 points and diamond ($39.99) for unlimited rentals.
