With DivX 7 you can encode your HD files and then play them on your PS3 and/or DivX-certified players but not Microsofts XBOX

Currently, when it comes to DivX on consoles, it is just Sony who has signed up for the official codec compliance for the PlayStation 3.

Will Microsoft ever be DivX certified?  Doubt it but, one thing is for sure, a link-up between Microsoft and DivX could be lucrative for both companies.
