The maker of the legendary iPod is about to start selling digital songs without copy protection from its iTunes store. The digital songs from the iTunes Music Store will be priced between 79 cents and $1.29.

Apple will also announce details that will allow iPhone 3G and iPod Touch Wifi users to buy songs while on the go, over the air through its popular App Store.
