YouTube will not start showing full-length TV shows and movies from MGM's archives

MGM Studios has decided that the old show "American Gladiators" will be the first program to debut on YouTube.  MGM will also provide full-length action films like "Bulletproof Monk" and "The Magnificent Seven" and even clips from popular movies like "Legally Blonde."

All of these will be free to watch, but will have ads running alongside the video.  This new partnership will put YouTube in more direct competition with Hulu which partners with NBC and CBS.
