RIM has been working real hard at releasing a cell phone that will rival Apple’s iPhone and HTC’s Touch. The 9000 series should do just that as it will eliminate the traditional QWERTY keyboard for an on screen keyboard.
This device is aimed at the power users out there, such as older teenagers and young adults. Also, RIM plans to eventually release 3G versions of the Curve and Pearl, which will likely be renamed the "Teal" and "Semillion".
