Price continues to be the biggest factor when contemplating buying a Blu-ray player. You would think after winning the high definition war against Toshiba (HD-DVD) and thus having no competition, prices would fall considerably.

According to Sony, you thought wrong. They say prices of a $200 player will be for 2009. A $300 price tag is as best we can hope for this year.

(If you can define greed, there is the definition right there...)
