A new version of Aud-X 5.1 Surround Codec has been released, which fixes a few minor bugs found in the previous version. If you haven't heard already, Aud-X 5.1 Surround Codec allows you to add 5.1 audio to your AVI files, that is MP3 backwards compatible and can be played back in any Directshow based player and best of all, it's free. There is even a specially modified VirtualDubMod version that supports encoding of 5.1 content using this codec.
A new version of DivXLand Media Subtitler has also been released. DivXLand Media Subtitler allows you to manually add subtitles to a movie frame by frame wise, supporting over 30 subtitle formats. The new version adds SAMI and SSA support, adds generic Tabbed Values subtitle format, adds caption timing details to the status panel and a few other changes and fixes.
And for those that want the latest version of DivX, DivX 6.1.1 is available to download on DivX Labs.
