Software News: WinDVD 7.0 Released!!

Last week it was DivX Digest's turn to get the big software news, this week it's DVD Digest. WinDVD 7.0 Gold / Platinum has been released, and it looks like a huge update over the previous version. Apart from the brand new interface (very media center like, in both looks and operation), there are more audio functions (hall effect, HD audio support, home theatre speaker controls and Intervideo Headphone), support for more formats (H.264, 3GPP/3GPP2, Digital TV transport streams, MPEG2/4 AAC), visualization effects and updates to existing technology like QuickClip2 and TrimensionDNM. Another exciting new feature is media sharing in the form of UPnP support and the ability to share video over iPod, PDA, PMP, mobile phone and other mobile devices.
