DVD-Finaly is a tool capable of detecting and displaying information (such as region status, buffer size, media support ...) about your CD, CD-R/W and DVD drive. It also allows you to change the region setting (see below), and allow you to set the drive to region 0, which may work with certain DVD players (PowerDVD, I think) to playback DVDs from all regions (ie. region-free). Region 0 drives won't work with ALL DVD players.
Please note that this utility will decrease the number of changes available (region change counter) for your drive everytime you use it to change region-settings - most RPC-2 DVD-ROM drives only have 4 or 5 region changes available, after which, the drive will not allow you to change the region anymore (and hence, when your region change counter reaches 0, this utility will no longer work).
